Maintenance

Keep your ARSA Ice Bath clean, hygienic, and ready for your next cold-water session with regular maintenance. Following a consistent care routine helps maintain water quality, supports reliable performance, and extends the life of your equipment.

Cleaning Routine

Clean your ARSA Ice Bath regularly to prevent dirt, body oils, and residue from building up. Drain the water when necessary, then clean the interior surfaces with a soft cloth or sponge and a mild, non-abrasive cleaner suitable for the bath's material. Rinse thoroughly to remove any cleaning residue before refilling. Avoid harsh chemicals, abrasive brushes, or cleaning products that could damage the surface or seals.

Water Care

Maintaining clean water is essential for a hygienic ice bath experience. Use clean water, keep the bath covered when not in use, and remove visible debris regularly. If your ARSA setup includes a filtration or water-treatment system, follow the manufacturer's recommendations for water testing, filtration, and compatible sanitising products. Replace the water as needed, particularly when it becomes cloudy, develops an unusual smell, or cannot be maintained at the recommended quality. Never assume that cold water alone keeps the bath hygienic.

Filter Change

If your ARSA Ice Bath system includes a water filter, inspect it regularly and clean or replace it according to the manufacturer's instructions. A dirty or clogged filter can restrict water flow and affect the performance of a connected chiller. Always switch off and disconnect the equipment from the power supply before servicing the filter. Use a compatible replacement filter and ensure it is correctly fitted before restarting the system.

Regular Maintenance Checks

Inspect your ARSA Ice Bath periodically for signs of wear, leaks, loose fittings, or damage. Check the drainage outlet, hose connections, seals, and any accessories included with your setup. Keep the surrounding area clean and dry, and make sure the bath cover fits securely. Address any visible problems promptly to help prevent further damage and maintain safe operation.

Winterization

If your ARSA Ice Bath will be exposed to freezing temperatures or left unused during winter, take steps to protect it from frost damage. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for draining the bath, hoses, pump, and chiller where applicable. Water left inside pipes or equipment can freeze, expand, and cause damage. Store removable components appropriately and protect the bath from severe weather. Do not operate the chiller in conditions outside its specified operating temperature range.

Chiller Care

For ARSA Ice Baths equipped with a chiller, keep the unit clean, dry on the exterior, and properly ventilated. Regularly inspect the hoses and connections for leaks or obstructions, and keep air vents clear of dust and debris. Ensure that the required water flow is maintained whenever the chiller is operating. Before cleaning or servicing the unit, switch it off and disconnect the power supply according to the manufacturer's instructions. Do not open electrical components or attempt internal repairs yourself.

Long-Term Care

If you plan to leave your ARSA Ice Bath unused for an extended period, follow the recommended shutdown and storage procedures for your specific model. Drain and clean the bath when required, protect it with a suitable cover, and ensure that connected equipment is prepared for storage. Before using the bath again, inspect all connections, refill with clean water, and check that the system operates correctly.
